Κατευθυνθήτω ἡ προσευχή μου. Let my prayer arise.
Psalm 140, sung at every Vespers as the incense rises, and again at the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts through Great Lent. This is a book for your rule: the prayers you keep, the Fathers you are reading, the fast, the training, the confession you are preparing for.
"Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice."
— Psalm 141:2 (140:2 LXX)
The Greek is set in white on a black or navy hardcover under a three-bar Orthodox cross, so it reads like a service book.
