Trisagion Gym Bag
Made to order for you, then shipped with tracking.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.
The Trisagion is sung at the Divine Liturgy before the Epistle and opens the daily prayers. According to Holy Tradition, during the great earthquake of 447 a boy was caught up into the air before the people of Constantinople and heard the angels singing it. The Church remembers this on 25 September.
The hymn is sung to the Holy Trinity, and the prayers go on: All-holy Trinity, have mercy on us. So the back carries the Trinity: a line drawing after St Andrei Rublev's icon of the three angels who visited Abraham at Mamre (Genesis 18), inscribed Η ΑΓΙΑ ΤΡΙΑΣ.
Front: the Trisagion in Greek capitals, ΑΓΙΟΣ Ο ΘΕΟΣ · ΑΓΙΟΣ ΙΣΧΥΡΟΣ · ΑΓΙΟΣ ΑΘΑΝΑΤΟΣ · ΕΛΕΗΣΟΝ ΗΜΑΣ, under a red three-bar cross. Back: the Holy Trinity. Ends: The Sons of Man eagle and wordmark.
