Out of Egypt Tank Top

Ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἐκάλεσα τὸν υἱόν μου. Out of Egypt have I called my son.

A page from a Greek Gospel book written in Constantinople in the eleventh century: the lines of Matthew 2 where Joseph takes the Child and His Mother by night into Egypt. Three words are lifted out of the scribe's hand and set large across the back. τὸν υἱόν μου: my son.

"When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt... that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son." Matthew 2:14–15
