The Lamb is cut from it at the Proskomedia. The oldest Orthodox confession there is, in the shortest form: He has already won.
This is the processional cross, the one carried at the head of the procession on Pascha night. Flared arms, the victory letters in the corners, stitched in heavy thread on a cuffed beanie.
